Car manufacturer Lotus announced a special collaboration with Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital at the July 22, 2008 Press Day preceding the British International Motorshow (July 23 through August 3). At the Press Day event, Lotus unveiled their new model, the Lotus Evora, to the public. And as part of the collaboration, on hand at the show was a special version of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue featuring a digital version of the new Evora for attendees to try out on the London city track. This collaboration was made possible thanks to the long-standing cooperative relationship between Lotus and Polyphony Digital.

Mike Kimberley, Group Lotus CEO remarked, “We are delighted to join forces with Sony Computer Entertainment and Polyphony Digital once again on such a special occasion for Lotus. The Launch of the Lotus Evora is a milestone for us and represents a new and exciting phase of our development.
