The goal: to produce a real life racing driver from the top players of Gran Turismo.

Footage from the innovative "GT Academy" initiated in Europe in 2008 is brought to you in 4 episodes.

In Episode 1, the top players who made it through the finals in each of their countries gather at the Silverstone Circuit in the UK to partake in the final selection round. The first two grueling days of the five-day event is brought to you in this episode.

The champions of each country are eliminated one by one, through their first circuit lap, a marathon around the course, pit work time trials, cart race, and other events that test their will and strength. Watch as they go up against the difficult challenges presented to them, and in turn give it their best shot for the chance to become a professional racer. Who will make it, and who will drop in the first two days?
