Gran Turismo for PSP Shown at Penny Arcade Expo
Gran Turismo for PSP was on display at the Sony booth at the 2009 Penny Arcade in Seattle,Washington, held September 4-6. Event Attendees were given the opportunity to try out the full finished game before it hits retail and the Playstation Network Store on October 1. In addition, a limited number of exclusive Gran Turismo posters, featuring the sleek lines of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 art from the game's packaging, were also given away each day to event participants. Reactions to the game were very positive with the people commenting how strong the gameplay is and how tight the controls are.
Also on display in the booth were other top tier first party Sony PlayStation titles including God of War 3, Uncharted 2, EyePet, and LittleBigPlanet for PSP.
Penny Arcade Expo, or PAX as it is usually called, is a three day game festival for tabletop, videogame and PC gamers. The event consists of an exhibitor hall, gaming tournaments, panel discussions, music concerts and more. Attendance this year was up, with approximately 60,000 people making their way to the Seattle Covention Center where the event was held.
